We've assembled a panel to talk housing and housing affordability. Plus all the related social and economic issues involved with the housing industry. As well, some solutions to Canada's housing crisis. Joining us are:

Mukhtar Latif - Mukhtar is developer and affordable housing consultant with 30 years experience in the public and private sectors. His expertise is in developing affordable housing policies, products and programs, including modular housing and regeneration projects. Previously, Mukhtar was Vancouver’s Chief Housing Officer.

Mike Moffatt - Mike is an Assistant Professor in the Business, Economics and Public Policy group at Ivey and is the Senior Director, Policy and Innovation at the Smart Prosperity Institute. Previously, Mike was the Chief Innovation Fellow for the Government of Canada, advising Deputy Ministers on innovation policy and emerging trends, and represented Canada at G7, OECD and Organization of American States meetings.

Diana Petramala - Diana is a Director in the Economic Advisory Team at Altus Group. Ms. Petramala has spent the bulk of her career conducting economic and real estate research. Previously, she was the senior economist at the Centre for Urban Research and Land Development at Ryerson University where she analyzed the impacts on demographics on housing markets and urban growth.

Adam Vaughan - Adam is a former Liberal Party Member of Parliament and former Toronto City Councillor. He’s our insider on government on this panel and he’s just joined the School of Cities at the University of Toronto as a Canadian Urban Leader. As Parliamentary Secretary for Housing in the Trudeau government, he played a leading role in the creation of Canada’s first national housing strategy.
